ECRN 3Rs Hackathon

We have spent some time thinking about how we can support our Early Career Researchers Network. Our challenge is to support young researchers as they build skills and knowledge that can be implemented in their research while, at the same time, strengthening the network. With our new project, the ECRN 3Rs Hackathon, we hope to take some steps towards achieving our goals.

How it will work:

  1. Register for the event using this link

  2. Join us on the 23rd of May in Bern

  3. Participants will be assigned into interdisciplinary groups to begin to devise a 3Rs advancement project

  4. Groups are guided in the processes of ideation, collaborative problem solving and project creation

  5. Each group will have the opportunity to pitch their idea for a 3Rs project and feedback is given by the mentors

  • Accreditation for 1 day of continuing education

  • you register alone and we will put together the groups

  • this will be in person but if you can only make it online, we are looking at how we can accommodate this

  • if you would like to join the ECRN Teams group, drop us an email and we can add you

  • the event will last the whole day, please only register if you can attend all sessions

  • places limited to 25 people
