The Swiss 3Rs Day 2022, held in Bern, brought together researchers, industry, and animal welfare experts to explore advances in the Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement of animal use in science.

Through keynote talks, scientific presentations, and poster sessions, the event highlighted emerging technologies—such as organoid and microphysiological systems—as well as practical approaches to improving animal welfare and research quality.

The day provided a platform for exchange, collaboration, and showcasing innovation across the Swiss 3Rs community.
