The Young 3Rs Investigator Award is intended to recognise and encourage early-career researchers who have made an individual contribution to advancing the 3R Principle through their work in Switzerland.

This award highlights innovative and impactful achievements at an early stage of a scientific career, across areas such as method development, implementation of alternatives, improved experimental design, or education and training related to the 3Rs.

The award includes a cash prize of CHF 1’000.–, as well as the opportunity for increased visibility through a short video feature and/or a presentation at a Swiss 3RCC event.

Applications and nominations are evaluated based on the quality, originality and impact of the contribution, and follow the same internal review and external expert endorsement process as the main 3Rs Award.
